About this tournament

This beginner-friendly tournament is designed for players with little or no tournament experience. Our instructors will be there throughout to guide you and explain how a chess tournament works.

The tournament has five short rounds. After 15 minutes, each position is assessed. If one player has a clear advantage, that player wins the game.

It’s a great way to try competitive chess for the first time.
