About ChessParty
Where Chess comes together
ChessParty is the world's first large scale global gathering place for the modern chess community
Our idea
Background story
Modern chess stands at the same inflection point where gaming, streaming, and pop culture once stood - before DreamHack, TwitchCon, and Comic-Con transformed from bold ideas into global phenomena. First came the digital community and then came the place where everyone could finally come together. Today, chess is one of the world's largest and fastest-growing global communities. Hundreds of millions of people play the game. Millions compete, learn, watch, and engage every single day. A thriving creator ecosystem produces content that reaches far beyond traditional chess audiences, attracting fans from gaming, entertainment, sports, education, and popular culture. Chess has never been bigger - Chess has never been more global - Chess has never been more connected.
Yet, despite the explosive growth of the game and the community surrounding it, one thing has been missing: A large global live stage - A physical default home where players, creators, influencers, fans, brands, innovators, and the entire chess ecosystem and chess industry can meet, compete, celebrate, have fun and shape the future of the game together.
Social Aspect
ChessParty is more than just a big happening and has a strong focus on the social aspects of chess.
We want to create an arena where people sharing the same passion can meet in person and get new playing partners and new friends. ChessParty is designed to make chess social, entertaining and accessible to people of all ages - from just curious to new beginners and skilled players.
Recruiting more people into chess also provides a great social benefit considering the positive effects on peoples brain health chess have. Adults & seniors are improving their cognitive skills and children develop their math skills, concentration abilities and creative skills through chess.
Our Vision & Ultimate Goal
Become the social highlights of the international chess calendar annually and be the physical default home for the chess community.
Host ChessParty’s all around the world - all continents - with a local approach together with great influential partners, co-owners and co-organizers in each country/region.
