Peter Holmgren is a Swedish chess historian and secretary of the Swedish Chess Academy. He co-edited Schack i Sverige, a book marking 100 years of the Swedish Chess Federation, and wrote an extensive biography of Gideon Ståhlberg, one of Sweden’s greatest players.
