FIDE Master Vidar Grahn is the reigning Swedish junior chess champion. He won the junior title in 2026, earning a place in the top division of the 2027 Swedish Championship.
Vidar had already made his mark beyond junior chess: he became Swedish blitz champion in 2024 and defeated grandmaster David Navara at the 2025 World Rapid Team Championship.
