Partner story
SjakkSnakk is Norway’s largest chess podcast and the Official Podcast Partner of ChessParty.
Hosted by Odin Blikra Vea and Askild Bryn, SjakkSnakk brings listeners closer to the people, stories, and ideas shaping the world of chess. Insightful analysis, personal reflections, humour, and a genuine love of the game have made the podcast a favourite among everyone from curious beginners to experienced tournament players.
At ChessParty 2027, SjakkSnakk will take its audience behind the scenes of the festival. Moving between stages, tournaments, activities, and the expo, Odin and Askild will meet players, creators, special guests, and visitors – capturing the energy of the event as it unfolds.
From spontaneous encounters to deeper conversations, SjakkSnakk will explore the personalities, atmosphere, and stories that cannot always be found in the official program. Their coverage will offer a unique perspective from inside the festival and give the ChessParty audience a chance to become part of the story.
The weekend will culminate in a special ChessParty episode of SjakkSnakk, bringing the highlights, conversations, and memorable moments to listeners long after the final games have ended.
