At DreamHack, your next opponent across the chessboard could be someone you usually watch on screen. Whether you’re an experienced player or simply curious about the game, you’re invited to sit down, make a move and join the action. Our dedicated 3000 m² area will feature chess activities, competitions and familiar faces from the chess world, giving visitors a taste of what awaits at ChessParty next spring.
Visitors will have opportunities to meet and learn from Anna Cramling, Jon Ludvig Hammer, Nils Grandelius, Edvin Trost, Odin Blikra Vea and Jesper Hall.
Anna Cramling and Odin Blikra Vea will also take on the public in blitz chess, giving their rivalry an unexpected twist.
With one match victory each, Anna and Odin are preparing for their deciding duel at ChessParty 2027. But the road to that showdown starts at DreamHack, where both players will take on visitors.
Their results against the public will directly influence how much time each player has on the clock when they meet at ChessParty. Your game could help shape the conditions for their next encounter.
Fancy challenging Anna? Think you can take a point off Odin? This time, the result could matter well beyond your own game.
Young players have another reason to join us: the ChessParty Junior Tournament, taking place on November 28–29. Open to players born in 2006 or later, the tournament is free to enter, and every participant receives free admission to DreamHack for all three days.
The partnership continues on April 23–24, 2027, when DreamHack joins ChessParty at Stockholmsmässan. Bringing the two communities together gives visitors more to explore and creates new opportunities to discover games, meet people and take part.
More programme details for both events are on the way. Follow ChessParty for the latest announcements, and join us at DreamHack this November for the first chapter.
See you at DreamHack Stockholm, November 27–29, 2026!
