Schackfyran

District finals of Stockholm - arranged by Stockholm Chess Federation
Schackfyran is a Swedish class competition for fourth graders. The aim of the competition is to show that all children are important to the success of a group. This is achieved by using the 1-2-3 points system for the games and by giving all participants a medal for participating. The competition started in 1978 and every year more than 25,000 Swedish children participate, making it one of the world's largest chess competitions.
