If you’ve ever been curious about chess – or wanted to take your game a step further – the Chess School at ChessParty is the perfect place to start.

Open throughout the entire festival, the Chess School is designed as an accessible and welcoming space where anyone can drop in and learn. Whether you’re completely new to the game or already know the basics, our experienced instructors will guide you at your own pace.

You’ll get help with the rules and fundamentals, but also be introduced to key ideas, common patterns, and practical tricks that strong players use. The goal is simple: to give you tools that immediately make the game more understandable, more enjoyable – and more fun to play.

There’s no need to sign up in advance or commit to a full session. Just stop by whenever it suits you, ask questions, try a few games, and learn along the way.
