Pia Cramling

Pia Cramling is a Swedish chess grandmaster who has been among the world's top female chess players for decades and has also been the highest-ranked woman in the world on a ranking list. As recently as 2022, she received an award for the best result at the first table in the Chess Olympiad, and in 2025 she became the first Swede to be inducted into the World Chess Federation FIDE's Hall of Fame.
