Jesper Hall

Jesper Hall is an International Master and FIDE Senior Trainer, widely recognised as one of Europe’s leading voices in using chess as an educational tool.

Through his role as chairman of ECU Education, he has been at the forefront of developing and promoting chess in schools across Europe, helping thousands of children discover the game while strengthening skills such as concentration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

In Sweden, Hall has played a key role in building strong grassroots initiatives through his work with the Stockholm Chess Federation, contributing to the growth of chess as both a sport and an educational resource.

His efforts have earned him several international awards, recognising not only his impact on chess, but on education more broadly.

As CEO of ChessParty, Jesper Hall is also one of the driving forces behind the festival itself – bringing his experience, vision, and passion for chess into the heart of the event.

At ChessParty, he offers a unique perspective on how chess can shape learning, development, and opportunity, far beyond the board.

Whether you are a teacher, parent, organiser, or simply curious about the broader impact of chess, this is a chance to hear from one of the leading experts in the field.
