Fiona Steil-Antoni

Fiona Steil-Antoni is a Woman International Master, commentator, streamer, and one of the most recognisable hosts in international chess.

She has represented Luxembourg in eleven Chess Olympiads and numerous international competitions, and in 2006 she won individual gold on board two at the Women’s Chess Olympiad in Turin.

Since entering the world of chess coverage in 2014, Fiona has become a familiar face at many of the game’s biggest events. With a background in events management from London Metropolitan University, she has worked full-time in chess across a wide range of roles – including commentator, interviewer, press officer, and social media lead.

Her work has taken her to leading tournaments such as Tata Steel Chess Tournament, Isle of Man International, and Norway Chess, where she has helped bring the game to life for audiences around the world.

Alongside her event work, Fiona is also an active Twitch streamer and Chessable author, connecting directly with a global audience and offering insight into both professional chess and the stories behind the game.
