Sverre Krogh Sundbø Confirmed as Festival Host

We’re proud to announce that one of Norway’s most well-known TV hosts and chess presenters, Sverre Krogh Sundbø, is coming to ChessParty Stockholm!

Over the years, Sverre has hosted studio coverage and live broadcasts from some of chess’s biggest moments for both TV 2 and Chess.com. With his warm style, strong on-screen presence, and ability to make complex moments feel accessible, he has helped bring chess to a wider audience.

Many viewers may also recognise him from the new The Dark Side of Chess documentary, where he shares his perspective on one of the most talked-about controversies in modern chess.

At ChessParty, Sverre will be one of the festival’s hosts, helping guide audiences through the weekend’s packed programme, keeping the energy high, and making sure visitors get the most out of the experience.
