Mini-Games at Chess School

Mini-Games at Chess School

Learn chess through simple, fun challenges.

Mini-games are simplified versions of chess that focus on one idea at a time. Instead of playing a full game, you’ll explore short, focused scenarios designed to help you understand how the pieces move – and how they work together.

You can try challenges like:

  • pawn races – be the first to promote a pawn
  • king and pawn endgames
  • bishop vs pawns – can you stop them?

Each mini-game highlights a specific concept, making it easier to improve step by step.

This is one of the most effective ways to learn chess – especially for beginners – but also a great way for more experienced players to sharpen specific skills.

Drop in anytime during the festival and join at your level. Our instructors will guide you along the way.
